FAQs
What Should I Expect for a Bodywork Session?
Each session begins with a communication piece and unfolds from the client’s intention. The practitioner follows the energy and addresses presenting issues. Potential may extend beyond traditional bodywork into a blend of movement, communication, meditation, sounding, essential oils, and more. The practitioner's intention is to hold space, tune in, listen deeply, and support the client’s healing process. Christy’s work is woven with presence, intuition, and skilled touch that's guided to support clients recovering from physical injury, emotional distress, anxiety, PTSD, and nervous system dysregulation. Sessions are offered as outcalls. Beyond 10 miles travel fee applies.
How Should I Prepare for a Session?
I am an outcall therapist. This means I will meet you in your home. For each session I will bring a massage table and all associated supplies, cream or oils. You can expect me to arrive 15 minutes early to set up my table for our session to begin on time. I will ask to be shown to the appropriate space for working. The best space at least 10x10ft, is private and free of distraction.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy applying pressure to specific "reflex" points on the feet, hands, or ears, which practitioners believe correspond to organs and energy pathways (qi) in the body. It is primarily used to reduce stress, manage pain, and promote relaxation.

CranioSacral Therapy

Silicon Cupping is a form of alternative therapy using flexible silicone cups to create negative pressure (suction) on the skin, enhancing blood circulation, reducing muscle tension, and assisting with myofascial release.
Spinal Ice Bath
Targets back pain, reduces spinal inflammation, and aids in recovery. It is used to constrict blood vessels (vasoconstriction), which reduces swelling and nerve irritation along the spine.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a safe, effective, hands-on therapy technique that involves applying gentle, sustained pressure to restrictions in the fascia—the connective tissue surrounding muscles and organs—to alleviate pain, increase range of motion, and restore mobility.
